In his book, The War of Art, Steven Pressfield says, “The more resistance you experience, the more important your unmanifested art/project/enterprise is to you--and the more gratification you will feel when you finally do it.” Resistance is real and I know this to be true because I’ve been avoiding cutting a documentary for close to a year now.
You came here with an intention, a purpose, one you don’t need somebody else’s permission to receive. You came here with a promise to yourself, to learn the lessons that would have you do what you were called to. So don’t expect somebody else to know how broken you’ll be if you don’t keep them. Stop explaining what is untrue to the way you are, as if your ideas, feelings, desires, preferences, your choices are an aberration instead of divine and wondrous expression. You, as you are in this moment, are enough.
